Actress Park Min Young is allegedly reviewing the script for the upcoming drama adaptation “Marry My Husband”.
According to Sports World and TV Report on February 8th, Park Min Young was recently offered the role of female lead Kang Ji Won in the upcoming K-drama “Marry My Husband”.
“Marry My Husband”, which is adapted from a webtoon of the same name, depicts the story of Kang Ji Won, who witnessed her husband Park Min Hwan cheating with her best friend while terminally ill. She ended up getting killed by her husband, and was sent back to 10 years earlier, where she set out to live a happy life and get revenge.
In this series, Park Min Young is considering to play the role of Kang Ji Won, who is familiar with keeping her patient. She is a lowly character surrounded by people who disregard her and often take advantage of her, following closely the motto of “I only need to endure it once”.
It is known that Park Won Guk, who directed the drama series “Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist” and “Special Labor Inspector”, will be responsible for the production of “Marry My Husband. Meanwhile, the script is written by Shin Yu Dam, who excellently delivered both fun and emotional messages in “Awaken”.
Regarding the news of Park Min Young starring in “Marry My Husband”, the actress’ agency, Hook Entertainment, told TV Report, “This is one of the scripts that have been offered to Park Min Young. Nothing has been decided.”
