Park Min-young and Na In-woo attend, BoA absent “‘Marry My Husband’ team to go on reward vacation to Vietnam on March 10th”

According to Star News on Feb 14th, the team of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Marry My Husband” (written by Shin Yoo-dam, directed by Park Won-guk and Han Jin-seon) is planning a 3-night, 5-day vacation to Vietnam starting from March 10th. Considering the steady increase in viewership ratings after the drama’s broadcast, they decided to take a vacation overseas. The production company has recently conveyed the schedule to the cast and staff and is confirming their attendance.

Park Min-young, the protagonist of “Marry My Husband”, has confirmed her attendance. As she played a pivotal role in boosting the ratings, she plans to board the flight to Vietnam with those who have been working hard on the production. After fulfilling schedules such as media interviews ahead of the finale, she plans to enjoy the reward vacation.

Actor Na In-woo will also go on the reward vacation.

Despite being on the verge of military enlistment this year, he is determined to attend to share the joy of the drama’s success with the cast and staff who have worked hard together. Na In-woo’s representative told Star News, “He’s planning to join the reward vacation after obtaining permission from the Military Manpower Administration.”

Born in 1994, Na In-woo is turning 30 this year. As he awaits his enlistment notice, he plans to submit an application for overseas travel permission to the Military Manpower Administration in order to attend the reward vacation. According to the Military Service Act, men over the age of 25 who have not completed military service require permission from the head of the Military Manpower Administration for overseas travel.

Other main actors such as Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ha-yoon and Choi Gyu-ri are also adjusting their schedules to attend as much as possible. However, BoA, who played the gruesome villain character, is expected to have difficulty attending due to previously scheduled commitments.

“Marry My Husband” is a drama about Kang Ji-won (played by Park Min-young), who was murdered after witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend. She goes back ten years earlier and begins her second life. Actors such as Park Min-young, Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ha-yoon, Choi Gyu-ri, Lee Gi-kwang, Gong Min-jeung and Ha Do-kwon are starring in the drama. The drama has garnered high ratings, recording 11.8% nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea’s paid households) and 13% in the metropolitan area.

The overseas response is also hot. According to the OTT service ranking aggregation site FlixPatrol, “Marry My Husband” topped the Prime Video Worldwide TV Shows category. It started at 6th place in the weekly rankings in the first week of January when it first aired and steadily climbed up the rankings.

The drama is also highly topical. According to FUNdex, the official platform of the K-content competitiveness research agency Good Data Corporation, “Marry My Husband” has secured the top spot for six consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT integrated drama topicality survey. Park Min-young has also been ranked first for six consecutive weeks in the actor topicality section.
