Park Ji Hyun joins the cast of “Eun Jung and Sang Yeon”…Reunite after ending friendship with Kim Go Eun

Actress Park Ji Hyun will reunite with the director of “Do You Like Brahms?” through “Eun Jung and Sang Yeon”.

An official from the entertainment industry told Sports Chosun on May 11th, “Park Ji Hyun will play the female lead in the new drama ‘Eun Jung and Sang Yeon’ (written by Song Hye Jin, directed by Jo Young Min).” “Eun Jung and Sang Yeon” tells the story of drama writer Ryu Eun Jung (played by Kim Go Eun) and filmmaker Cheon Sang Yeon. They had been best friends since elementary school but ended their friendship due to an incident. After years passed, the two meet again, now as adults.

Park Ji Hyun will play the famous filmmaker Cheon Sang Yeon. The focus of this work will be why Cheon Sang Yeon and Ryu Eun Jung chose to end their friendship as well as how they will reunite and continue their relationship.

Park Ji Hyun played Song Joong Ki’s sister-in-law Mo Hyun Min in the drama “Reborn Rich” (2022). She was later chosen for the lead role in SBS’ new drama “Gold Spoon”.

On top of that, Park Ji Hyun will reunite with director Jo Young Min, who worked with her in “Do You Like Brahms?”, through “Eun Jung and Sang Yeon”. The reunion of Park Ji Hyun and director Jo Young Min, who successfully led “Do You Like Brahms?” and “The Interest of Love” with delicate directing skills, is highly anticipated.

“Eun Jung and Sang Yeon” is produced by Kakao Entertainment with director Jo Young Min and writer Song Hye Jin of “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” joining forces.
