On January 20, Park Ji-hoon appeared on Salon Drip , hosted by Jang Do-yeon, alongside fellow actor Yoo Hae-jin to promote their film The King’s Warden .
During the episode, Yoo Hae-jin praised Park Ji-hoon’s sincerity, describing him as someone with an unforced warmth and a strong sense of responsibility. He noted that Park Ji-hoon never makes empty promises and has steadily built his career since his early acting days.



Park Ji-hoon also revealed that he lost 15 kilograms over two months for his role as King Danjong in The King’s Warden . Yoo Hae-jin recalled being surprised by Park Ji-hoon’s transformation, saying that while he initially appeared noticeably heavier, he arrived on set having lost so much weight that it inspired trust in both his acting and professionalism.

The conversation turned more personal when Park Ji-hoon spoke about his school years. He shared that he had very few friends growing up, explaining that his strong regional dialect from Masan and his weight made him a target of teasing. “I was told, ‘How can someone that overweight be on TV?’” he recalled, adding that he often believed people avoided him because of the way he spoke.


Park Ji-hoon also humorously mentioned a resurfaced video from his arts high school days, filmed during a snack bar dance battle when he was a trainee. Laughing, he admitted he desperately wanted the snack coupons but did not win, jokingly pleading for the video to be deleted.
