Summary
Directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, known for films such as “Bleak Night” and “Time to Hunt”, “Newtopia” tells the story of a soldier, Jae-yoon (played by Park Jeong-min), and his girlfriend, Young-ju (played by Jisoo), running towards each other through downtown Seoul after being attacked by zombies infected with an unknown virus.
Global star Jisoo brings to life Young-ju, a spirited girlfriend who will stop at nothing to reach her boyfriend, even as the world crumbles around her. The newly released still cuts capture contrasting moments from Young-ju’s life. One shows her as the “Engineering College Goddess” during her carefree and happy college days, drawing attention wherever she goes. The other starkly portrays her terror-stricken expression and tearful eyes amidst the life-threatening fear of a sudden zombie outbreak.
