On September 9, Park Han-byul’s agency Chan Entertainment officially announced, “Park Han-byul has been cast as the lead role Ha Se-yeon in NBS (Nongmin Broadcasting System)’s special drama My Love from the Field.
Directed by Lee Yoon-ah and written by Almond, with production by Studio Coffee Break, the drama follows the story of a top star who travels to the countryside village of Undong-ri for a variety show shoot. There, she becomes entangled with the locals, leading to warm, humorous, and healing encounters.

Park Han-byul will portray Ha Se-yeon, a once-celebrated top star who reluctantly arrives in the rural village for filming. Though clumsy and awkward at first, her bright and confident energy gradually wins over the villagers, bringing comfort and excitement to those around her.
The production team commented: “Ha Se-yeon is the central character of this drama. Park Han-byul’s pure and warm image, combined with her approachable and charming acting style, aligns perfectly with the role. She will showcase a lovable charm that viewers cannot help but embrace.”

Throughout her career, Park Han-byul has built a diverse acting spectrum—from pure and cheerful roles to deep emotional portrayals. While her recent film Karma highlighted her calm and rational side, this drama will allow her to display a more realistic yet endearingly quirky charm.
Her agency added, “Park Han-byul’s warm and witty performance in this drama will bring audiences both healing and joy. Her unique human touch will shine brighter than ever.”
Currently in detailed planning, My Love from the Field aims to deliver laughter and empathy to viewers, with production carefully prepared under the leadership of Studio Coffee Break.
