Park Hae-soo X Kim Tae-hee to enter Hollywood “Confirm to appear in ‘Butterfly'”

On January 30th (local time), US media outlet Variety reported, “Kim Tae-hee and Park Hae-soo will appear in the spy thriller series ‘Butterfly’ starring Daniel Dae Kim.

Based on the graphic novel of the same name, “Butterfly” is centered on David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), an enigmatic, highly unpredictable former US intelligence operative living in South Korea, whose life is blown to pieces when the consequences of an impossible decision from his past come back to haunt him, and he finds himself pursued by Rebecca (Hardesty), a deadly, sociopathic young agent assigned to kill him.

Park Hae-soo’s side stated, “Park Hae-soo will appear in ‘Butterfly’, adding impact to the drama by delivering English lines.” Park Hae-soo, who gained recognition for his stable acting skills and screen presence through his role as Sang-woo in the globally acclaimed Netflix series “Squid Game”, was not only nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series award at the 74th Emmy Awards but also achieved success with “Narco-Saints”, firmly establishing himself as a global actor.

Afterwards, Park Hae-soo signed with the major US agency UTA and embarked on global activities. While actively seeking opportunities in Hollywood productions through continuous love calls and various auditions, he has also been consistently studying languages and devoting himself to self-improvement.

Besides, Kim Tae-hee’s agency also stated, “Kim Tae-hee will appear in ‘Butterfly’.” Variety talked about Kim Tae-hee, “Kim Tae-hee began her career as a model before breaking out with her role in the South Korean TV series ‘Stairway to Heaven’. She went on to star in shows like ‘Forbidden Love’ and ‘Love Story in Harvard’ and in films like ‘Iris’ and ‘Lies Hidden In My Garden’.
