On July 12th, Oh My Girl’s Mimi posted an “Ice Bucket Challenge” video on Instagram. She said, “Hello, this is Mimi. I’ve been nominated by Park Bo Gum sunbaenim for the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ and decided to participate.”
Earlier, on July 11th, Park Bo Gum posted an “Ice Bucket Challenge” video on his Twitter and nominated actor Kwak Dongyeon, The Boyz’s Q, and Oh My Girl’s Mimi as the next participants.
Netizens speculated that Park Bo Gum nominated Mimi, whom he has no particular closeness with, because of the recently viral incident in “Earth Arcade 2”.
Previously, on tvN’s variety show “Earth Arcade 2,” Mimi saw Park Bo Gum in a character quiz and incorrectly answered “Kim Bum Soo.” Other members and Na PD made Mimi flustered by saying, “You can’t shield yourself from this. Bo Gum really likes our show, he even called us.“
