“Pachinko” Kim Min-ha To Host BBC Documentary Starring Uhm Jung-hwa

Kim Min-ha will become an MC for a BBC documentary

On November 24th (Korea Standard Time), BBC opened a new page called “K-DRAMA: A global force on screen page” for a new show on its official website.

Kim Min-ha was chosen as the show’s MC. BBC introduced that Kim Min-ha, who played Soon-ja on Apple TV+ ‘Pachinko’ will explore the global influence of K-drama through this new program.

The program invited many people from the entertainment industry, such as actress and singer Um Jung-hwa, screenwriter Hong Eun-mi, and Forbes reporter Joan McDonald to talk about K-content.

Among them, Um Jung-hwa is the only artist to participate in the interview. The actress reportedly had an in-depth conversation about acting with Kim Min-ha, an actress from the same agency as hers.

Regarding this, their angency, Saram Entertainment said, “Please pay a lot of attention to the story of Uhm Jung-hwa, who have been active in the top spot in the industry for 30 years, and host Kim Min-ha.”

Meanwhile, “K-DRAMA: A global force on screen page” is a radio documentary officially released on the 26th.
