On the morning of August 23rd, the press conference for Apple TV+’s “Pachinko” Season 2 took place at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Min-ho, Kim Min-ha, Jung Eun-chae and Kim Sung-kyu.
Lee Min-ho commented on his experience at the press day in the U.S., “I didn’t see the reaction from all over the world, but I did catch a glimpse of the response from New York. I was pleased to receive such excessive love during Season 1. It was wonderful to interact with those who appreciated the drama before it was officially released.“
Kim Min-ha, who also attended, expressed, “I was very nervous, but I felt great being welcomed with open arms. It seemed like everyone enjoyed the drama, which was nice.“
Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Min Jin Lee, Pachinko tells a story that begins with forbidden love and unfolds across Korea, Japan and the United States, chronicling unforgettable tales of war and peace, love and separation, triumph and judgment. Season 2, consisting of 8 episodes, is set to premiere on August 23rd.
