Over 100 Injured at One Direction Member’s Concert as Hailstorm Hits Venue

An accident occurred at the concert of One Direction member Louis Tomlinson with over 100 injured.

According to the US news network CNN, on June 21st (local time), Louis Tomlinson, a member of One Direction, was scheduled to hold a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, but it was canceled due to severe weather. Over 100 people were injured during this process.

At the time, the US National Weather Service warned that golf ball-sized hail would pour near Red Rocks and advised residents to take shelter from the storm.

Louis Tomlinson also couldn’t proceed with the concert due to worsening weather conditions and resumed it at 8:38 PM. However, shortly after, at 9:15 PM, it was delayed again.

Ultimately, the decision was made to postpone the concert until 10:15 PM. However, during the delay of the performance, the fans waiting in the outdoor seating area were injured by the hail.

Videos taken by the fans and shared on social media are shocking. The downpour of torrential rain and golf ball-sized hail was so intense that it resembled a disaster movie.

According to the fire authorities, around 100 fans suffered injuries such as bruises and fractures and received on-site treatment. Another 7 individuals, in critical condition, were urgently transported to nearby hospitals for hospitalization and treatment.

Louis Tomlinson took to Twitter to apologize, “I hope everyone has arrived home safely. I wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.”

However, some argue that Louis Tomlinson caused even greater damage by delaying the concert.

Furthermore, there are claims that the concert organizers’ staff even mocked the bewildered audience. Louis Tomlinson has not given a specific response to this controversy.
