Over 10 Artists Leave Cube Entertainment? An Alarming Crisis

Cube Entertainment, which is home to various notable artists such as (G)I-DLE, is constantly seeing its artists leaving.

Alongside the “Big 4” entertainment companies of the K-pop industry (namely HYBE, JYP, YG, and SM), there are many other mid-sized agencies that are considered reputable, and Cube Entertainment is one of them.

However, Cube, which is home to various notable artists such as (G)I-DLE, is constantly seeing its artists leaving, raising a sense of crisis.

In particular, in October 2023 alone, 5 members of boy group PENTAGON, including YeoOne, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok, left the agency after their contracts expired. In November, member Hongseok also departed, alongside 6 members of major boy group BTOB.

In January 2024, “Marry My Husband” star Na In-woo also concluded his time with Cube, while in March of the same year, CLC’s Seunghee left the agency.

Just a few months later, 2AM’s Jo Kwon also ended his collaboration with Cube, and most recently, actor and “Produce 101” star Yoo Seon-ho also wrapped up his contract with the agency.

This means that within just 9 months, Cube Entertainment has lost 16 artists, raising the alarms.

At the same time, as Cube is known for various cases of mismanagement and neglect, many fans are celebrating the artists’ departure, and even discussing who will be the next to leave.
