KBS 2TV’s weekend drama Our Golden Days has captured the nation’s attention, hitting a record high rating of 18.8% and averaging 17.5% nationwide. The show now ranks as the top broadcast across all weekend programming and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM.
In the most recent episode 32, tensions exploded as Sung Hee (played by Lee Tae Ran) pressured her daughter Eun Oh (played by Jung In Sun) to undergo a liver transplant for her. The emotionally charged scene saw Eun Oh fiercely refuse, leading to a dramatic clash between the two.
The viewership peaked at 18.8% during a scene where Sung Hee and Young Ra (Park Jung Yeon) confront each other as Young Ra and Ji Wan (Son Sang Yeon) plan a webtoon kiss scene. The escalating conflicts and high stakes have gripped audiences with unrelenting intensity.

In a shocking twist, Sung Hee went as far as calling her biological daughter a “murderer” in a desperate attempt to force the liver transplant. She even offered 500 million KRW (approx. $380,000) to Eun Oh’s brother Kang Oh (Yang Hyuk) to convince her.
Meanwhile, Eun Oh’s close friend Woo Jin (Kim Jun Ho) discovered they are actually twins, sending him into emotional turmoil. Realizing Sung Hee’s renewed contact with him was solely for the transplant added another layer of betrayal and heartbreak.
Suspicious of Sung Hee’s behavior, Young Ra teams up with Ji Wan to secretly follow her. As they learn that Woo Jin is hospitalized due to liver complications, more of Sung Hee’s dark secrets begin to unravel. Young Ra, growing closer to Ji Wan, boldly counters Sung Hee’s next move using the transplant itself as a strategic card, heightening the show’s suspense.

The drama has been praised for its intricate emotional web and well-developed characters. Viewers have responded with comments like “Finally a drama that gives me dopamine again!” and “Lee Tae Ran’s acting is absolutely stellar.”
With unpredictable twists still to come, all eyes are on Our Golden Days to see if it will break its own rating record once again.
