“Our Blues” Shin Min-ah, a character that is 180 degrees different from her role in “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”
Actress Shin Min-ah presented a totally different character and received favorable reviews from viewers.
In the prologue of episode 4 of the tvN Saturday drama “Our Blues” which was released on April 17th, Seon-ah’s daily life, which was covered with pain, was briefly shown, arousing the pity of the viewers.
Seon-ah started the prologue with her pitiful appearance, and Shin Min-ah, who was showing her character’s mental pain by closing her eyes and biting her lips tightly while trying to breathe, expressed her immersion in the character.
Seon-ah showed how she was struggling with depression. As his husband’s voice gradually increased, her son stopped him from fighting, and Seon-ah‘s heart burned with more and more upset at the sight. In this way, Shin Min-ah vividly conveyed the heart of Seon-ah, who is angry but upset and full of frustration through her calm expression but wounded eyes.
Following the slightly revealing of Seon-ah and Dong-seok (Lee Byung-hun)’s story from 7 years ago in the last two episodes, in this episode, her current painful inner self is revealed, raising curiosity about her character even more.
In particular, Shin Min-ah, who realized Min Seon-ah is 180 degrees different from her role Yoon Hye-jin in her previous work “Hometown Cha-cha-cha”, said at the production presentation held on April 7th, “The character Seon-ah herself is the biggest factor in why I chose this work. I sympathize with Seon-ah’s emotional lines and her charms.” Fans are highly expecting how Shin Min-ah will portray her character with how she empathizes with her more than anyone else.
