Recently, Goo Ranking, a famous online hub for pop culture surveys, has introduced a poll about the cutest female characters in One Piece. The results, recently concluded, show a Top 10 where neither Boa nor Nami – major female characters in the series, placed 1st.
The final results were released just ahead of the 28th anniversary of One Piece’s broadcast and shortly before the anime’s expected return in April following an unprecedented six-month hiatus. It also highlights a mix of beloved mainstays and newer additions to the series, as below:

- Nami – 61 votes
- Boa Hancock – 30 votes

Uta, who tops the list with 120 votes and doubling Nami’s, is a relatively new character introduced in “One Piece Film: Red”. Her design and personality have quickly endeared her to fans, securing her position as the cutest female character in the series and suggesting a growing bias towards new characters instead of the og ones.
Meanwhile, Nami, the Straw Hat Pirates’ navigator, claims the second spot with 61 votes. Known for her intelligence and charm, Nami has been a fan favorite since the series’ inception.
Additionally, Boa Hancock, the Pirate Empress and leader of the Kuja Pirates, ranks third with 30 votes. Her striking beauty and complex character have captivated audiences, making her one of the most memorable figures in One Piece.
The inclusion of characters like Shirahoshi, Nefertari Vivi, and Perona showcases the diverse range of personalities and designs that Oda has crafted, each bringing a unique appeal to the series.
Nico Robin, despite her significant role and mature allure, finds herself in the seventh position with 13 votes. This placement highlights the stiff competition among the series’ many beloved female characters.
On the other hand, One Piece continues to experience top-tier popularity on a global scale — particularly as the anime resumed broadcast and international streaming last week. The manga also remains a top-seller with 3.2 million copies 1st-print sold between April 2024 and March 2025, outperforming other popular Shonen Jump titles like Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, and Hunter x Hunter.
