According to a report by SPOTV News on February 25, Ok Taecyeon will hold a private wedding ceremony at a location in Seoul on April 24. The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity who is four years younger than him, and the couple has been in a relationship for 10 years. With this marriage, Ok Taecyeon becomes the second married member of 2PM, following Hwang Chansung, who wed in 2021.
The news comes after Taecyeon previously hinted at his upcoming marriage during the 2025 KBS Drama Awards. After receiving the Excellence Award in the Miniseries category, he surprised viewers by saying in his acceptance speech, “Lastly, I would like to sincerely thank my fiancée. I love you.” The unexpected confession drew significant attention and congratulatory messages from fans.

Back in November last year, his agency 51K officially confirmed the marriage plans, stating, “Ok Taecyeon has promised to spend his life together with someone he has been in a long-term relationship with.” The agency added that the wedding would be held privately in the spring, attended only by both families, relatives, and close acquaintances in Seoul.
They also requested understanding from the public, explaining that details would remain undisclosed as the bride is a non-celebrity.
Ok Taecyeon publicly acknowledged his relationship in 2020, 12 years after his debut, and has maintained a six-year public relationship since then. In February of last year, candid snapshots of the couple taken in Paris, France, were leaked online, sparking buzz among fans and netizens.

Taecyeon debuted in 2008 as a member of 2PM and rose to fame with hit songs such as “10 Out of 10,” “Again & Again,” “Heartbeat,” “Hands Up,” and “Go Crazy!.” Expanding his career into acting, he has appeared in numerous dramas including “Cinderella’s Stepsister,” “Dream High,” “Who Are You?,” “Wonderful Days,” “Save Me,” “Bring It On, Ghost,” “Vincenzo,” “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy,” and “Heartbeat.”
Last year, he also starred in the drama “The First Night with the Duke” and the film “La Grande Maison Paris,” further solidifying his position as a successful idol-actor.
