K-pop idol and acclaimed actor Ok Taecyeon is taking the next step in his personal life as he officially announces his wedding. On November 1, Ok Taecyeon posted a heartfelt handwritten letter on his social media account.
In the letter, Ok Taecyeon expressed, “I wanted to be the first to share my story with the fans who have always cherished and supported me, so I picked up the pen.” Reflecting on his 19-year career, he wrote, “From my debut with 2PM to now, the journey from participating in the ‘Superstar Survival’ program at age 19 to the present has been possible because of your unwavering support.”
Ok Taec-yeon revealed, “I have decided to spend my life with someone who has understood and trusted me for a long time. We will be a solid support for each other and walk through life together.”
He also conveyed deep gratitude to fans: “I sincerely thank everyone who has consistently supported me. Your love and encouragement have given me strength beyond words. I promise to continue giving my best as a 2PM member, actor, and as your Taec-yeon.”
Later, his agency 51K confirmed that the 2PM star will marry his long-term partner in a private ceremony next spring, sharing their excitement while keeping details under wraps.
The wedding will be held in Seoul with only close family and friends in attendance.
