On the June 22 broadcast of SBS’s Uh, but Like, Seriously!, Oh Yeon Seo and Kim Gyu Won visited Lee Su Ji’s boarding house and discussed their personal lives with the cast.
During the conversation, Oh Yeon Seo revealed that she currently lives with her parents. She explained that although she had previously tried living independently, she ultimately found sharing a home with her family more comfortable. “Since we have continued living together, it feels comfortable,” she said. “I tried living independently, but in the end, I preferred living together.”
Tak Jae Hoon then asked whether her parents had reached the point of encouraging her to get married. Oh Yeon Seo responded, “I think they have given up on that now.” When asked why, the actress offered a candid explanation that immediately drew attention. “Honestly, it is not that I am choosing not to get married. I am unable to,” she said.
Her remark prompted playful responses from the cast. One participant joked that she could still get married immediately, while Tak Jae Hoon added that she could hold the wedding ceremony at noon and register the marriage at 1 p.m., drawing laughter from the studio. Oh Yeon Seo also explained that her homebody lifestyle makes meeting a potential partner difficult. “I really love staying at home,” she admitted.
Oh Yeon Seo debuted in 2002 as a member of the girl group LUV before transitioning into acting. She later gained recognition through appearances in various KBS2, MBC and SBS productions.
