On February 13th, the U.S. entertainment media Six reported that Austin Majors died of suspected fentanyl poisoning at a homeless housing facility in Los Angeles, the U.S.
According to the report, the cause of Austin Majors’s death has not been confirmed but it is suspected to be a fentanyl overdose. The police are still investigating.

Fentanyl is a powerful narcotic painkiller, and it is about 100 times more effective than morphine or heroin. Withdrawal symptoms are virtually impossible.
The bereaved family said, “Austin Majors was a loving, artistic, brilliant, and kind human being”, adding “We’ll always miss him. He took great joy and pride in his acting career”.

Austin Majors made his debut as a child actor in the U.S. drama “NYPD Blue” that aired from 1999 to 2004. He later appeared in the films “Treasure Planet” and “The Ant Bully”.
