Nonghyup Bank Announces to Stop Working with Han So Hee Amid Transit Love Controversy 

Many netizens believe the “transit love” controversy wouldn’t have escalated if Han So Hee hadn’t stirred up social media, posting and deleting, making her Instagram private then public. She lost 100,000 followers due to this controversy.

On March 19th, the actress made her Instagram public again. She also saw a surge of 100,000 new followers, bringing her back to her previous milestone of 17.8 million followers before the controversy erupted. The situation also led to increased searches for Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol, propelling the two actors to the top of the chart for the hottest TV actors of the past week.

However, gaining back 100,000 followers and topping the chart of the hottest actresses of the week couldn’t mitigate the damage to Han So Hee’s career. On March 18th, Nonghyup Bank announced the contract termination with Han So Hee from earlier this month, with no plans for renewal. Both parties have worked together ince 2021.

This decision by Nonghyup Bank was supported by the Korean public as the model’s trustworthy image is crucial in the finance and banking industry. 

After her infamous trip to Hawaii, Han So Hee finally returned to Korea on March 18th. Contrary to speculation, the actress appeared radiant, unlike someone experiencing distress as stated by her company. 

She confidently faced the public instead of hiding her face, unlike her boyfriend Ryu Jun Yeol. Han So Hee even subtly flaunted her ring on her ring finger, sparking speculation that her new romance had progressed to engagement. However, this morning, close sources revealed that it was just a friendship ring from Han So Hee’s friends.
