BTS's Suga Shows off Galaxy Phone in Concert, Boosting Samsung's Ad Campaign

BTS member Suga, who is the advertising model for Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy phones, made a lively appearance promoting the brand.

On the 29th, Suga held a solo world tour concert in Newark, New Jersey, USA. During the concert, he provided a special event for his fans, known as the “ARMY,” who came to see his performance.

The “special event” was taking a selfie with fans’ phones. However, Suga added the condition that he would only take pictures for those using the Galaxy phones released by Samsung Electronics.

He said to the audience, “Only Galaxy. iPhone is (not allowed),” with a witty remark. Suga also emphasized, “This phone is Galaxy. No iPhone,” in English, causing laughter among the audience.

After the concert, Suga broadcasted live on the communication platform Weverse, showing his phone on the camera, saying, “This tour is great. Doesn’t it look great with Galaxy? Samsung must be laughing now.”`

Meanwhile, Suga started his solo world tour from Belmont Park in New York on the 26th and plans to visit ARMYs around the world, including Asia, after the North American tour.
