On the August 26th broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope”, NMIXX members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin made an appearance.
Kyujin introduced the title track “See that?” as a mix-pop song combining old-school hip-hop and country. When asked about their first impressions of the song, Jiwoo said, “I originally liked hip-hop, so I was happy to hear the old-school hip-hop influence.”
Kim Shin Young remarked, “The choreography is not old-school at all; it’s really tough. As soon as I saw the choreography, I was amazed at how high-quality it is. The members must have found it challenging to breathe, make expressions, and move around the stage all at once.” Haewon agreed, “It’s the hardest choreography we’ve done so far.” Jiwoo shared, “It’s difficult to execute well.”
NMIXX will be holding a fan concert at Jangchung Arena on October 4th, 5th and 6th. Kim Shin Young commented, “Your first fan concert received a lot of attention. I think your potential really shined through during the cover performance of Orange Caramel’s ‘Catallena’. When I first saw Bae, I thought she seemed arrogant, but after hearing her talk a few times, I realized she’s not quietly strong; she’s just strong.” Bae humorously responded, “‘Arrogant’ is the word farthest from describing me.”
When asked if there was anything that stood out like the album title suggests, Sullyoon said, “My eyelashes are really long. The makeup artists have to trim them because they poke my eyes. They say my eyelashes are longer than the ones you can glue on.” Haewon expressed envy, “I’m so jealous of people like her. My eyelashes are short and droopy.”
Meanwhile, NMIXX released their third mini-album “Fe3O4: STICK OUT” on August 19th and is currently promoting the title track “See that?”.
