NMIXX Held 92 Fansigns In 2023, Netizens Baffled

The number of fansigns held by girl group NMIXX has shocked many people

On November 27, a topic titled “NMIXX held 92 fansigns this year” was published on the Korean forum “theqoo”. The topic has since attracted almost 60,000 views and over 500 comments.

In 2023, NMIXX has released 2 albums, “expérgo” and “A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream”. Their 92 fansigns, which are catered to different distributors, include both offline and video call sessions.

It is said that this is the highest number of fansigns for K-pop group within a year, even higher than the number of hand-shaking events held by Japan’s most crowded group, AKB.

Notable, “A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream” was released in July, but fansign events for this album will continue until well into December.

Below are some comments from netizens:

  • This makes it hard for both the singers and the fans…
  • Wow, the fans must be having a hard time
  • There’s 365 days a year, so holding 92 fansigns means they have to do it for an entire quarter everyday…Coupled with other schedules, this seem like quite a struggle
  • It’s a vicious circle… I wonder if the fans’ wallet can withstand the next comeback
