Minji’s group NewJeans recently performed at university festivals, starting with Korea University on May 25th, Chosun University on May 27th, Dongeui University and Busan University on May 28th, Sejong University on May 30th and Chung-Ang University on May 31st. Performing their new songs “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum” and many other hit songs, NewJeans received loud cheers and applause from the audience. The group will donate all the profits from their university festival performances.

The fancam of Minji during the performance went viral among fans.

After the festival, members Hanni and Danielle mentioned Minji’s flirting gesture on a live broadcast and laughed while teasing Minji enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, NewJeans has continued to dominate Korean and international charts with their new double single “How Sweet”. The title song of the same name placed No.85 on the latest Spotify’s Global Weekly Top Song chart and ranked No.1 in Korea and Taiwan.

On domestic charts, including Melon, “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum” ranked No.2 and No.3, respectively, proving the group’s popularity. NewJeans also achieved No.1 on music shows such as “Show Champion” and “Music Bank”.
