NewJeans, having successfully concluded their performance in Japan, was spotted in the heart of Tokyo’s streets.
On August 21st, several photos were posted on NewJeans’s official Twitter account, capturing the members enjoying their leisure time in Tokyo, Japan.
Having departed from Seoul’s Gimpo International Airport on August 17th, NewJeans appeared on the main stage of the music festival ‘Summer Sonic 2023’ in Tokyo on August 19th.
About 30,000 fans gathered to see NewJeans’s performance. During the concert, NewJeans performed around 11 songs for approximately 40 minutes, including hit tracks like “Ditto,” “OMG,” “Cookie,” “Attention,” “Hype Boy,” and songs from their mini 2nd album “Get Up,” receiving enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
Following their Japanese schedule, NewJeans returned to Korea on August 20th.
Based on the photos released on August 21st, NewJeans seemed to be enjoying their free time in Tokyo after the performance. The members, dressed comfortably, wandered around various places in Tokyo, looking like high school students on a field trip.
Min Hee Jin also shared glimpses of the members enjoying their relaxation time in Japan through her Instagram account.
The photos of the members taking pictures on the streets and visiting local restaurants to eat local Japanese food generated buzz among netizens.
