NewJeans Unveils Comeback Plans: New Single in May + Goal for New Album in the Second Half of the Year

NewJeans has announced their comeback plans

On the 26th, NewJeans‘ agency ADOR revealed through the fan communication app Poning that they will be releasing double singles in both Korea and Japan on May 24th and June 21st respectively.

The agency stated, “The May double single consists of the title track ‘Howw Sweet,’ the b-side track ‘Bubble Gum,’ and their respective instrumentals, totaling four tracks.” They continued, “The June double single consists of the title track ‘Supermatural,’ the b-side track ‘Right Now,’ and their respective instrumentals, totaling four tracks as well. Through these double singles, NewJeans will officially debut in Japan.”

Furthermore, they announced, “Following the release of the double singles, we will be hosting a fan meeting titled ‘Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome’ on June 26th and 27th.” They elaborated, “As a showcase stage announcing their debut activities in Japan, NewJeans will hold their first solo performance in Tokyo Dome after nearly two years since their debut.”

The agency expressed their gratitude, stating, “We are preparing our best with gratitude for being able to hold our first performance in Japan at Tokyo Dome as a fan meeting.” They added, “NewJeans plans to engage in music show activities in both Korea and Japan, and we are preparing to showcase as many great stages as possible to our fans, the Bunnies.”

Additionally, they mentioned, “NewJeans aims to use this large-scale fan meeting as a stepping stone for their world tour scheduled for 2025.” They emphasized, “ADOR prioritizes securing sufficient tracklists for good performances, as well as ensuring members’ practice time and condition management, thus avoiding overly ambitious tour plans or schedules.”

In conclusion, they stated, “We are doing our best to present better quality performances to our fans along with the new album we are preparing for the second half of the year.” They concluded, “We ask for your continued support and anticipation for NewJeans’ activities in 2024 as they embark on new endeavors.”
