NewJeans’s Minji and Hanni topped the girl group member brand reputation ranking in November
The Korean Brand Reputation Research Insitute analyzed 90,057,684 brand big data of 655 girl group members from October 19th, 2023 to November 19th, 2023 by measuring the brand participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. Compared to the October brand big data of 97,385,020, the November result dropped by 7.52%.
As a result, TOP 30 on the Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Ranking are NewJeans’s Minji, NewJeans Hanni, BLACKPINK Jennie, aespa’s Karina, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, NewJeans’s Haerin, aespa’s Winter, Red Velvet’s Joy, NewJeans’s Danielle, Girls’ Generation Yoona, Red Velvet’s Wendy, Red Velvet’s Irene, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chae-won, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Oh My Girl’s Mimi, IVE’s Jang Won-young, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, IVE’s Rei, Cignature’s Jiwon, IVE’s Gaeul, TWICE’s Nayeon, LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha, IVE’s Ahn Yu-jin, WJSN’s Yeoreum, NewJeans’s Hyein, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, and TWICE’s Jihyo.
In particular, NewJeans’s Minji brand ranked 1st place with a total brand score of 3,662,286, which fell slightly by 1.30% compared to the figure in October. In the 2nd place, NewJeans’s Hanni recorded a brand score of 2,507,384, which showed a decline of 15.45% this month. BLACKPINK’s Jennie brand placed 3rd with a total brand score of 2,433,938, which almost halved the October figure.
No.4 aespa’s Karina brand, on the other hand, witnessed a notable increase in brand score from 1,262,373 in October to 2,343,533 in November. In the case of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo brand, which ranked No.5, the total score this month was 2,304,661, which marked a decrease of 10.69%.
Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korean Brand Reputation Research Insitute said, “NewJeans’s Minji achieved No.1 in the 2023 November Girl Group Brand Reputation Ranking with ‘innocent’, ‘simple’ and ‘calm’ as most popular words linked to the brand. In the keyword analysis, ‘LOL Cup’, ‘Billboard’ and ‘Bunnies’ appeared for the most time. Moreover, the Minji brand also recorded a positive rate of 92.07%”.
