NewJeans Minji’s First Appearance After Kalguksu Incident Apology With All-Black Outfit & Calm Smile

On the morning of January 21st, Minji left Incheon International Airport to attend a fashion show for a luxury brand in Paris, France. 

Arriving at the airport for her departure, Minji greeted reporters with a soft smile. The brand officially announced Minji’s departure schedule for the fashion show and invited reporters to gather at the scene. In particular, this schedule drew more attention as it was the first time the NewJeans member showed up in public after releasing her official position and apology for the Kalguksu controversy.

Minji stole the spotlight with her sophisticated all-black fashion. She made a model-like pose in front of the cameras and smiled slightly. She looked rather calm in her first public appearance after the incident. 

Earlier on the 16th, Minji released an apology to NewJeans’s official fan community acknowledging her mistake when mentioning kalguksu in a past live broadcast, reflecting on her attitude and making a promise to be more careful in the future.
