NewJeans has their second music video with 200 million views

On July 25th, the agency ADOR announced that the music video for “Super Shy”, one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans‘ second EP “Get Up”, surpassed 200 million views on YouTube as of July 23rd.

With this, NewJeans now holds their second music video with 200 million views, following the performance version of “OMG”.

The “Super Shy” music video reached 100 million views just 90 days after its release on July 7th last year, marking the fastest achievement of 100 million views for a NewJeans music video.

“Super Shy” is notable for its unique sound, based on a jersey club rhythm and upbeat tempo. It achieved its highest rankings of 48 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 52 on the UK Official Singles Chart, setting several chart records for NewJeans.

In particular, “Super Shy” was selected as one of the “Songs of the Year 2023” by renowned international media outlets such as Rolling Stone and Pitchfork in the US as well as The Guardian and NME in the UK.

Recently, NewJeans released their double single “How Sweet” and their Japanese debut single “Supernatural”. They are now taking a break to recharge.
