On September 2, NewJeans’ Danielle published several messages via NewJeans’ exclusive fan communication app Phoning, expressing her worries about the recent dismissal of Min Hee-jin, the main producer of her group.
In particular, Danielle said, “I couldn’t open it (Phoning) for a while because I needed a little time to think about it. I’m sorry”, adding, “My Bunnies (fans of NewJeans) must have been very worried and confused too”.
“Actually, since the CEO was dismissed, it’s hard and I have a lot of worries. My mental state hasn’t been great for a while; I’ve just been feeling restless”, Danielle also shared, before thanking fans by saying, “Just know that we’re always so very grateful for our Bunnies and we’re always thinking of you.”
It seems that ex-CEO Min Hee Jin had a deep influence and connection with the members, especially with the two Australian members, Danielle and Hanni.
Previously, Hanni also allegedly mentioned Min Hee-jin and showed support for the former ADOR CEO.
