On April 27, ADOR told YTN Star that the members are currently preparing for activities according to their individual conditions and optimized schedules. The agency added that details regarding their future plans will be officially announced at the most appropriate time.

ADOR confirmed that the trip to Copenhagen was part of a pre-production process aimed at developing a new musical narrative for the group. However, the company did not clearly confirm whether the members actually used a recording studio during their stay.

Previously, on April 26, posts began circulating across international online communities and social media, claiming that NewJeans had booked a music studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, from April 13 to 16. A calendar believed to show the studio’s schedule quickly spread online, drawing intense attention from fans.

According to the leaked calendar, the label “ADOR/LL” appeared during the same dates, leading many to believe that ADOR had reserved the studio. This detail sparked speculation that the group may have been recording new music for an upcoming release.

Around the same time, members Haerin and Hyein were reportedly spotted by fans in Copenhagen. One Chinese netizen shared their encounter, saying, “I told Hyein she was so beautiful, and she kept smiling and thanking us. She even said goodbye before leaving.”

The agency later confirmed that the members had indeed traveled to Copenhagen. ADOR stated on April 14 that NewJeans members visited the city with staff. In addition to Haerin and Hyein, Hanni was also said to have joined the trip.

However, ADOR declined to reveal the purpose of the visit or provide details about their schedule, leaving room for further speculation.

Rumors that the trip was tied to a comeback had already begun circulating at the time, but the newly surfaced studio booking calendar has reignited those theories with even greater intensity.

Activity on NewJeans’ official channels has also fueled anticipation. On April 21, the group’s official social media account posted birthday messages and new photos for Hyein. The images, which appeared to be taken on a filming set, marked the first update in about six months since the account had gone quiet following the dispute between members and the agency.

Fans welcomed the update, with many expressing excitement at seeing the group again and suggesting that overseas filming and studio work could signal the beginning of a full-scale return.

Previously, in November 2024, all five members parted ways with ADOR. However, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni later halted their contract disputes and returned to the agency. Danielle did not rejoin, while Minji is reportedly still in discussions.

Meanwhile, ADOR has filed a lawsuit worth approximately 43 billion KRW against Danielle and former CEO Min Hee Jin after negotiations broke down.
