NewJeans’ Chinese Fandom Stages Truck Protest in front of HYBE Headquarters

NewJeans’ Chinese fandom, known as Bunnies, is currently holding a truck protest in front of HYBE’s building in Yongsan District.

The Chinese Bunnies announced via the online platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) that the truck protest started at 10 AM (KST) on September 13th. They stated, “In support of NewJeans, all Chinese Bunnies have united across seven NewJeans fan clubs in China, mobilizing resources and raising funds to carry out the truck protest.

The protest will run from 10 AM to 6 PM, using three trucks to deliver three messages to HYBE. Through the protest, the Chinese Bunnies are sending messages such as: “Wherever NewJeans and Bunnies are, there is a dream,” “Support NewJeans with us on ‘X’,” and “In K-pop history, not only will the girls’ courage be remembered, but also HYBE’s wrong decision.

Additionally, both domestic and international Bunnies have been conducting a hashtag campaign since September 11th, following NewJeans’ live broadcast, demanding that former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin be reinstated by September 25th and urging HYBE to stop “erasing NewJeans.”
