The June 9th episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” (hereafter “2 Days & 1 Night”), will feature a special battle between the six members and NewJeans in Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do.
The “2 Days & 1 Night” members welcome their guests early in the morning on the second day of their trip with fresh make-up and a polished appearance. The hint of a “group known for intense charisma and powerful performances” turns out to be NewJeans, surprising the six members.
Minji, Hanni, Danielle and Haerin, except for Hyein who could not join due to a foot injury, make their first terrestrial TV variety show appearance through “2 Days & 1 Night”. Minji and Haerin express their affection for the show by mentioning Kim Jong-min’s legendary “Possible” moments, exciting Kim Jong-min, who repeatedly uses “Possible”, causing laughter among NewJeans members.
Before the battle begins, NewJeans strategizes and prepares for the game. Despite the “2 Days & 1 Night” members provocatively asking “Should we go easy on you?“, NewJeans remains unfazed and confidently takes control.
As the game begins, even NewJeans has a member who repeatedly makes mistakes. Na In-woo, known as the “hole” of “2 Days & 1 Night”, warmly welcomes the “hole” member of NewJeans, showing camaraderie.
NewJeans also challenges the trademark “hit and miss” game of “2 Days & 1 Night”. Experiencing the 2 Days & 1 Night-style extreme “hit and miss” game for the first time, NewJeans members showcase unexpected entertainment skills, raising viewers’ expectations.
