On March 3, a faction of NewJeans’ fandom, known as Bunnies, organized a protest truck rally outside the headquarters of HYBE. The demonstrators called on HYBE and its subsidiary ADOR to halt what they described as a “consumptive and unnecessary dispute” and ensure complete group promotions featuring all five members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.
In an official statement, the fans referenced a recent ruling by the Seoul Central District Court, which sided with former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin regarding her injunction request. The court determined that there were no sufficient grounds for contract termination. Based on this, the protesting fans argued that HYBE had intensified the conflict under what they called the “fictional claim” of an attempted management rights takeover.

The statement further urged HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk to acknowledge responsibility for the situation and bring the dispute to an immediate end.
In addition, the fans directed specific demands toward current ADOR CEO Lee Do Kyung. They called for the withdrawal of a lawsuit involving Danielle’s family, the fulfillment of the company’s duty to protect its artists, and concrete legal action regarding alleged media leaks and the unauthorized release of overseas CCTV footage.
The protest also extended to Belift Lab CEO Kim Tae Ho. Fans demanded an apology over plagiarism allegations claiming that ILLIT copied NewJeans’ concept, as well as the removal of an explanatory video that they argued undermined NewJeans’ unique identity.
The organizing fans concluded their statement with a stern warning, declaring that if their demands are not met, they will mobilize “all possible means and methods” to carry out strong, united action.
