New TV series started with a high rating, threatening the top spots of Park Min-young and Nam Joo-hyuk’s dramas

In fact, this is the new season of the drama that made a big hit in 2021.

The long-awaited “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3” finally aired its first episode on February 26th. According to Nielson Korea’s data, the 3rd season of this popular drama started with an average viewership of 6.3%. This rating is higher than that of Season 2’s first episode (4.9%), heralding another successful season this year.

Meanwhile, after a 3-week postponement due to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, “Tracer” finally came back with the first episode of its 2nd season, recording a nationwide rating of 6.2%.

KBS’s The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won also resumed its broadcast with a decent nationwide rating of 8.0% after a six-week delay due to the animal abuse controversy after a horse died on set.

This weekend, JTBC’s Forecasting Love and Weather faces a fierce competition in ratings, so the average nationwide rating of episode 5 dropped to 6.1%. Similarly, episode 5 of tvN’s Twenty Five, Twenty One recorded an average nationwide rating of 8.0%, a slight decline from last week’s episodes. However, Twenty Five, Twenty One is still the highest-rated drama in its time slot across all cable channels.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s Young Lady and Gentleman continued to top Saturday dramas as the most-watched show across all channels with an average nationwide rating of 32.2%.
