EXY, Mimi, Moonbyul, JooE, Yubin, Moon Sua, Kim Seonyou confirmed to compete in new female rapper audition show “Second World”
8 girl group rappers will show off their vocal skills in “Second World”.
As reported by OSEN on August 1st, 8 female idol rappers from K-pop girl groups including WJSN’s EXY, Oh My Girl’s Mimi, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, MOMOLAND’s JooE, Ex-Wonder Girls’ Yubin, Ex-AOA’s Jimin, Billlie’s Moon Sua, and CLASS:y’s Kim Seonyou have been confirmed to participate in JTBC’s new show “Second World”.
“Second World” is an audition program where Korea’s leading girl group rappers with both rap and vocal skills compete in an intense singing competition. According to the theme of each round, they will perform as a separate artist, not as a group member.
The 8 participants are expected to shut down the prejudice and stereotype that they lack singing skills as rappers and show off their vocal abilities to the fullest, unfold their second world as “all-rounders.”
“Second World” will be hosted by singer Paul Kim. The first round of music has been pre-released and voting has started through the Naver NOW app from 2 to 7 pm KST today (August 1st).
