New drama “Why Her”, starring “rom-com queen” Seo Hyun-jin and Hwang In-yeop, to air the first episode in March
The filming of drama “Why Her” has resumed after a temporary suspension due to its director being confirmed infected with Covid-19.
On January 24th, an SBS official announced that there were some changes related to the production team of SBS’s drama “Why Her”.
Accordingly, the drama’s director Park Soo-jin, who was not vaccinated at the recommendation of doctors due to her underlying medical conditions, was diagnosed with Covid-19 at the end of last year. Fortunately, director Park Soo-jin didn’t have any close contact with the actors.
The filming of “Why Her”, which was halted for 2 weeks after director Park Soo-jin’s “positive” confirmation, has resumed with Kim Ji-yeon and Kang Bo-seung being appointed to temporarily take over the director position.
Currently, replacements in the production team have not been confirmed yet. It seems that changes will be made depending on director Park Soo-jin’s treatment condition.
Meanwhile, “Why Her (Why Oh Soo-jae?)” is a highly anticipated 2022 drama on SBS. This work stars the trustworthy actress Seo Hyun-jin (38 years old), and actor Hwang In-yeop (32 years old), who made his name be widely known through tvN’s drama “True Beauty”.
“Why Her” tells the painful but exciting love story of a cold-hearted lawyer Oh Soo-jae (Seo Hyun-jin), who pursues success with nothing in her hand, and law school student Gong Chan (Hwang In-yeop), who is not afraid of anything and always tries to protect Oh Soo-jae.
“Why Her” will premiere in March.
