The case that Miyeon (G)-IDLE had to leave YG and lost the opportunity to debut with BLACKPINK because of dating once again was “dug up” by netizens.
On January 7, on Korean social networks, a photo that is said to be a dating photo of Sungchan (NCT) and another SM trainee, who was born in 2003. The couple was caught dating when they were still trainees. However, this image has sparked controversy.
Many internet users believe it is impossible to prove that it is Sungchan and his girlfriend because it didn’t show their faces clearly and they could just be friends. Others believe that if it is really Sungchan’s dating photo, it is now a thing of the past.
Notably, many netizens suddenly called out Miyeon ((G)I-DLE). She was once caught up in dating rumors with former Mix & Match contestant Jung Jin Hyun. They dated together during their trainee days, but Miyeon wasn’t as lucky as Sungchan, she lost the chance to debut with BLACKPINK and had to leave YG.
In the past, Miyeon was in the debut lineup of BLACKPINK with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. In 2015, Miyeon and Jung Jin Hyung were caught dating. They are said to have traveled to Japan together.
