Netizens React to BTS’s Suga’s Indictment for Drunk-driving: Hurry Up and Leave the Group

As the indictment for BTS’s Suga’s drunk-driving incident was announced, Korean netizens show a rather harsh stance.

On September 10, a topic about the indictment for BTS’s Suga’s drunk-driving incident was published on the Korean forum “theqoo” and immediately gained attention with over 30,000 views and almost 400 comments in just a few hours.

In particular, it was previously announced that prosecution requests the court to impose fines, penalties, and confiscations without a formal trial, which suggests that BTS’s Suga’s charges are relatively light.

The prosecution did not disclose the amount of the fines they requested.

However, despite the light charges, it seems that Korean netizens still take a harsh stance against BTS’s Suga, demanding him to leave BTS in the comment section.

Below are some comments from K-netizens:

  • Even a summary indictment and fine will leave a criminal record, so stop holding out and just leave.
  • Drunk drivers can just withdraw already
  • Hurry up and quit. You should know shame.
  • He has become a criminal, that’s pathetic
  • What do you mean there’s a criminal in an idol group? Why aren’t they kicking him out?
  • In the end, he is getting a criminal record. I have nothing to say.
  • When on earth is he going to leave BTS?
