Netizens praise Taiwan’s concert ticketing method requiring buyers to solve quizzes applied at BTS & EXO concerts
The special concert ticketing method in Taiwan is drawing attention among K-pop fans.
Recently, ticket scalping, in which people purchase tickets and sell them to others at higher prices, has recently been a serious problem at K-pop idol concerts. In order to prevent this, concert organizers in Taiwan have been using a special method, arousing keen interest from Korean fans.
Several Taiwanese concert organizers have introduced quizzes as part of the ticket reservation process to verify whether the buyers are real fans and prevent ticket scalping.
These questions are not difficult for true fans, but they require people to spend some time and have fans’ knowledge about the idols to answer them correctly. In response, Korean netizens praised the idea of Taiwanese concert organizers, saying “Korea needs to apply this idea immediately”, etc. However, some fans expressed different reactions, such as, “I’m a real fan but the quiz still confuses me”, etc.
