Netflix’s new series, which went viral in a day after its release, is receiving unusual reactions

Netflix series “Narco-Saints” is receiving explosive responses.

Narco-Saints” was released on Sep 9th as a drama about an ordinary entrepreneur who has no choice but to risk his life in joining the secret mission of government agents to capture a Korean drug lord operating in Suriname.

Kang In-gu (Ha Jung-woo), who came to Suriname to make a fortune by selling skate fish, is helped by Jeon Yo-hwan (Hwang Jung-min), a Korean pastor whom he happened to know, and trusts him. However, as cocaine appears in his skate that is being sent to Korea, Kang In-gu is imprisoned, and NIS agent Choi Chang-ho (Park Hae-soo) visits him.

On Sep 10th, a day after its release, favorable reviews for “Narco-Saints” start to appear on various SNS and online communities. Netizens shared their thoughts, saying, “It was really fun,” “Everyone’s acting was amazing,” “I saw it all in just 1 day,” and “There were no acting black hole at all.”

Earlier, critic Lee Dong-jin also praised “Narco-Saints.” He said: “This amazing plot, which is based on a true story, is powered by powerful suspense and tension-filled development.” He commented, “The details are vividly alive even in such a large-scale setting, the physical touch of every scene is great, and the series is full of flexible lines and skillful actions, which spice up the story.”
