NCT’s Doyoung Enjoys Dating Programs But Doesn’t Envy Couples, “SM Idols Got Mental Education”
NCT127 member Doyoung revealed his independent life on “I Live Alone”, especially his love for dating programs
The April 19th broadcast of MBC’s “I Live Alone” featured the guest appearance of NCT127’s Doyoung. Doyoung, who has been living independently for six months, shared, “I used to live in a dorm (with the members). When my brother enlisted, I came to live with my parents and now I’m living alone”.
After waking up, Doyoung started the day by watching the dating program “Transit Love”. He said, “I get annoyed whenever I watch programs like this, but it raises my dopamine. I’ve also watched ‘I Am SOLO’, ‘Single’s Inferno’ and ‘Alumni Lovers’”. He then drew laughter with his appearance as he tried to watch the show even when he was doing laundry.
After working out while continuing to watch the dating show, Doyoung made breakfast. He said, “I like to cook and I cook very often so I’m not worried about eating at home”. While enjoying his meal and drinking non-alcoholic beer, he was fully immersed in the dating show. Seeing that side of Doyoung, the panelists exclaimed, “I’ve never seen anyone who’s so into dating programs like him”.
Jeon Hyun-moo then asked, “Do you put yourself in their situations while watching the show?”. In response, Doyoung said, “No, I don’t do that. Because I’m an idol”. When asked if he envy the couples, Doyoung replied, “No, I don’t envy them at all”.
Key, who is also an idol from SM Entertainment, added, “We got mental education about this in SM basement. A regular course is 2 years”.
When asked, “Don’t idols these days date normally?”, Doyoung replied, “I don’t know. I’m not sure about that”. Key commented, “Doyoung is good. The mental education course normally lasts for 2 years but it seems to have followed us for 20 years”, drawing laughter.
