NCT DREAM is once again proving why they’re one of K-pop’s most beloved and down-to-earth “young and rich” idol groups.
During their “THE DREAM SHOW 4: DREAM THE FUTURE” tour stop in Singapore, member Jaemin touched fans’ hearts by reminding them about the importance of eating well.
“I told you! I told you about eating! If you don’t eat, your body lacks nutrients. And what happens when that happens? Your immunity drops, and then you get sick. And if you get sick, can you come to the concert? You can’t. So why are you going around not eating?” — Jaemin
Following the concert, fans spotted Jaemin, Haechan, and Renjun dining together at the popular Haidilao Hot Pot restaurant.
Soon after, posts began surfacing online from fans who revealed that NCT DREAM had paid for their meals at the restaurant. Videos showed the members holding a long receipt while smiling, which quickly went viral across platforms like X (Twitter) and TikTok.
Fans were deeply moved by their generosity, commenting: “Look at the length of that receipt… we love idols who treat their fans well.” Others praised the group for their kindness and genuine appreciation toward NCTzens, saying their “actions speak louder than words.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time an NCT member has treated fans to a meal. WayV’s Xiaojun famously did the same during his birthday celebration on August 8, where he hosted 240 fans at Haidilao.
Xiaojun was seen bringing food to tables, playfully making noodles, and even dropping a fan’s photocard into a soup pot a moment fans described as “so Xiaojun.”
At the end of his event, he paid for everyone’s meals, with a receipt so long it looked like a scarf. Reports estimated he spent around ₩9.6 million KRW (about $6,930 USD), with some fans claiming the total could have reached ₩19.6 million KRW (around $14,100 USD).
With thoughtful gestures like these, NCT continues to warm fans’ hearts both on and off the stage.
