On January 14, a representative from SM Entertainment confirmed to Sports Today that “Jisung will appear in the drama Crash Season 2.”

ENA’s drama Crash, which Jisung has confirmed to join, follows the Traffic Crime Investigation (T.C.I.) team as they relentlessly track down criminals who wreak havoc on the roads. Season 1 premiered in May 2024 and became a major hit, ranking third among ENA dramas in terms of ratings. Season 2 will feature original cast members Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, and Heo Sung Tae, alongside newcomer Jisung.

In the series, Jisung plays Ji Dae Se, the youngest member newly assigned to the T.C.I. team. With his tall stature and warm visuals, he earns the nickname “the traffic department’s idol.” Trained in taekwondo and hapkido, he excels in action and physical tasks, though he carries emotional wounds beneath his confident exterior.

Jisung debuted as a member of NCT DREAM in 2016. Prior to his idol career, he gained experience as a child actor, appearing in the drama Tree with Deep Roots and the film Unbowed. However, Crash Season 2 marks his first acting project since debuting as an idol, drawing attention to his long-awaited return to the screen.
