Navi Talks About Best Friend EXID’s Solji, “We’re Close Enough To Open Up About Inner Feelings While Crying”
Singers Navi and Solji performed together on “Immortal Songs” and showed off their extraordinary friendship
Episode 664 of KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs”, which aired on June 29th, featured 10 teams. The last team was EXID’s Solji and Navi. They went up the stage holding each other’s hands. When the production staff commented, “There has been no team like this”, Solji replied, “They’re all fake. We’re real friends”, boasting about their friendship.
In an interview later on, Navi shared, “I’ve been friends with Solji for 10 years. I met her for work at a broadcasting station and she was very easygoing so we became close. We match each other so well and I feel so comfortable with her that I ended up sharing my inner feelings while shedding tears without realizing it”, explaining how she became friends with Solji.
She added, “As we formed a connection, I’m very happy that we are able to practice together as friends who know each other stories and feel each other well and stand on stage together”.
They chose Lee Seung-chul’s “Fate” to perform and presented perfect harmony. After completing the performance, they joined the panelists.
MC Shin Dong-yeop jokingly said, “The staff said they looked like real sisters. While preparing for this stage, Navi treated Solji as her real sister so she asked Solji to do many things”. Navi shyly responded, “Was there a rumor about it?”.
Solji then explained the situation, saying “Navi unnie told me to do some ad-libs and sent it to her, so I immediately recorded them. She also told me to do harmonization, so I also recorded it and sent it to her right away.” Navi commented, “Solji listens to me well”.
