According to the statement, on November 15, 2025, Nana and her mother were victims of a serious crime when an armed man broke into their home with a weapon. From the start, authorities treated the case as a criminal assault and robbery, based on clear evidence and testimonies from both the victims and the perpetrator. The suspect was indicted on charges of assault and robbery and is currently facing trial.
Despite the ongoing criminal proceedings, the agency claimed the suspect has refused to take responsibility, repeatedly changing statements and making untrue claims against Nana. Sublime’s statement accused him of exploiting Nana’s celebrity status by spreading false information, causing further emotional harm and what they called “inhumane secondary victimization.” The agency expressed “deep anger and dismay” over the situation.
The statement also noted that the police recently concluded the counter‑accusation case with a “no charges recommended” decision, officially recognizing that the suspect’s claims lacked any factual basis. Based on this outcome, Nana’s team filed a false accusation lawsuit against the suspect, asserting that his actions continued even after committing a serious crime.
Sublime made it clear that they will not stand by silently. They said they plan to pursue all possible civil and criminal legal measures to hold the suspect fully accountable for what they described as a malicious and inhumane campaign against Nana.
The original incident occurred around 6 a.m. on November 15, 2025 in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, at Nana’s residence. Investigators reported that the man used a ladder to enter through a balcony door, threatened Nana’s mother with a weapon, and demanded money. Startled by her mother’s screams, Nana woke and helped subdue the intruder. During the struggle, both Nana and her mother sustained injuries, and the suspect was also cut near the neck.
