Malaysian singer and filmmaker Namewee (Wee Meng Chee) is facing mounting scrutiny after becoming entangled in the shocking death of Taiwanese influencer Xie Youxin, widely known as the “Nursing Goddess.” As police continue to investigate potential links between Namewee, illegal drugs, and the suspicious circumstances surrounding Xie’s passing, several Taiwanese influencers have now come forward with disturbing claims about the artist’s private behavior and alleged “pickup tactics.”

Friends Deny Escort Rumors, Defend Xie Youxin’s Reputation
Social media personality Snowbaby (Xue Bi) — a close friend of Xie Youxin — denied rumors that she had introduced the late model to Namewee or that Xie had engaged in escort work.

“Just because a woman loves traveling doesn’t mean she’s someone’s companion or escort,” she said. “Stop labeling her. Xie Youxin never touched illegal substances.”
Snowbaby condemned the sexist double standards surrounding women in the entertainment industry, calling for empathy and respect for her late friend, who was found dead in a hotel bathtub in late October.
“Strongest Nursing Mom” Claims Namewee Tried to Shift Blame
Influencer Xie Wei-an, known online as the “Strongest Nursing Mom,” accused Namewee of attempting to shift drug-related responsibility onto Xie Youxin after the incident.
“I actually knew that ‘he’ was at the scene that day,” she wrote. “And I know he tried to cover things up with money. Don’t say Xie Youxin needed to sell herself — her OnlyFans income was more than enough.”
Her explosive claims fueled speculation that Namewee may have manipulated narratives to protect himself as the investigation deepens.
DJ Miga Reveals Uncomfortable Private Invitations
Popular DJ and online personality Miga Mei-jia also came forward, revealing that Namewee had contacted her earlier this year for a so-called “business collaboration.” According to Miga, his messages quickly turned personal, mentioning details such as:
“Let’s meet alone to discuss,”
“There’s a chance to travel abroad together,”
“Book a hotel for me,” and
“Do you drink?”

Sensing something was off, Miga declined the invitation.
“That instinct saved my life,” she wrote, suggesting that she narrowly avoided being drawn into a compromising situation.
Adult Star “Dolly” (Wawa) Accused of Secret Meetings
Taiwanese adult actress Wawa (Ong Yu-cheng) — often referred to as “Taiwan’s Strongest AV Actress” — admitted that she had been invited by Namewee on a mysterious trip to Malaysia, though she denied receiving any payment. However, former AV director Pu Zhiyu later leaked their private chat logs, alleging that the pair had planned to meet at a hotel in Zhonghe during one of Namewee’s visits to Taiwan.
“Stop saying she was lucky to avoid danger,” Pu wrote. “She sent him explicit photos and tried to seduce him. Don’t act like she was the victim.”

The explicit nature of the alleged messages has further intensified public outrage.
Namewee remains under police custody in Malaysia, facing interrogation over potential drug possession, obstruction, and involvement in Xie Youxin’s death. Authorities previously confirmed finding illegal substances and sexual stimulants at the scene.
As more influencers reveal their unsettling experiences, public sentiment toward the artist — once known for his bold satire and music collaborations — has plummeted.
The controversy has also reignited discussions about power abuse, consent, and exploitation within Asia’s influencer and entertainment circles, with netizens demanding a transparent investigation and justice for the victims involved.
