Kim Yoo-jung and Song Kang will excite viewers as a new visual couple through their new drama “My Demon”

On November 24th, the production team of SBS’s new Fri-Sat drama “My Demon” was held at SBS in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Jang-han and the cast, including Kim Yoo-jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang-yi and Jo Hye-joo attended the event.

“My Demon” depicts the fantasy rom-com in which devilish chaebol heiress Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung) and Jung Gu-won, a demon who temporarily loses his power, get married under a contract.

Director Kim Jang-han said, “It seems like our drama has more fantasy elements than others. The transcendental existence of Gu-won might have added a significant dramatic element to the story. Our actors are actually very cute and lovely. I think that’s enough to help viewers enjoy the drama.” He added, “I think all four actors have the visuals that I want to boast about everywhere, I think viewers will like it.”

In order to play a demon who has a fatal charm, Song Kang went on a diet. He shared, “I began dieting from the beginning because I thought I had never shown that side. Since the filming already ended, I gained back 10kg”, raising high expectations for his visual in the drama.

In addition, Kim Yoo-jung and Song Kang plan to showcase extraordinary rom-com chemistry. Kim Yoo-jung confessed, “We got closer as we analyzed our characters and discussed the scripts together during the filming. After naturally becoming comfortable with each other, our chemistry went very smoothly”, adding “We had so much fun and joked around a lot. That’s why there was always laughter on the set and we really enjoyed the filming”.

Song Kang also talked about his chemistry with Kim Yoo-jung, saying “She (Kim Yoo-jung) is such a great senior actress, but she approached me first and helped me solve my concerns in acting. We talked a lot about acting and naturally created chemistry. We added many ideas to the scripts during rehearsals and created many entertaining scenes.”

In this regard, the director said, “The thing that has the most fantasy vibe is the visuals of the two actors. I tried to capture their visuals beautifully and put more effort into making them look natural and highlighting their strengths”, adding “Our drama has fast developments and comic elements. I think this drama really suits the tempo and taste of viewers nowadays so I hope they enjoy it.”

Meanwhile, “My Demon” will premiere at 10 p.m. on November 24th.
