Actor Lee Jung-ha and The Boyz’s Younghoon have been selected as new MCs for MBC’s music program “Show! Music Core”
According to Spotv News on Oct 6th, Lee Jung-ha and The Boyz’s Younghoon will take over the MC position of “Show! Music Core”, succeeding NCT’s Jungwoo and Stray Kids’s Lee Know.
Female MC NMIXX’s Sullyoon will continue hosting “Show! Music Core”.
Particularly noteworthy is that it marks the first time in 7 years that “Show! Music Core” has chosen an actor as an MC since actor Kim Min-jae in 2016, raising expectations for Lee Jung-ha’s performance.
Lee Jung-ha made his acting debut in 2017 with the web drama “Heart Attack Warning”.
He gained attention as a “rising actor” worldwide with his role in Disney+’s original series “Moving”, where he portrayed Kim Bong-seok, who inherited superpowers from his father Kim Doo-sik (played by Jo In-sung) and mother Lee Mi-hyun (played by Han Hyo-joo). For this role, Lee Jung-ha underwent a transformation, gaining about 30 kg and delivering an outstanding performance.
Younghoon is a member of boy group The Boyz, which debuted on Dec 6th, 2017.
In The Boyz, Younghoon holds the position of sub-vocal, but he handles various parts that are not inferior to main or lead vocals. His smooth and wide vocal range is one of his attractive features.
He stands out as he possesses the image of a representative handsome guy. Younghoon captures fans’ hearts with fair skin, a small face, a tall height close to 185 cm and broad shoulders.
