aespa’s Karina once again drew attention to her face after attending the Visionary Awards.
On December 1, SM’s rookie girl group aespa appeared at the Visionary Awards held at the CJ ENM Center building. aespa is the only K-pop girl group and the second idol group after BTS to be included in the ‘2021 Visionary‘ list.
aespa is honored for creating their own unique universe, with digital versions of each member, referred to as avatars. aespa has broken through traditional boundaries and brought new potentials and trends to the K-pop industry.
On Twitter, the previews taken by the members’ fansites capturing the moment aespa left the Visionary Awards received much attention. In which, Karina is the member who occupies the most spotlight in the group thanks to her outstanding visuals. The female idol’s classy and elegant aura makes her look like a powerful female CEO or someone coming from a noble family. Everytime Karina shows up at an event, her beauty became the talk of the town. As expected of a top visual among 4th generation’s girl group members.
A pre-debut photo of Karina was also reposted by fans, because of the similar angle and how Karina was holding a bouquet of flowers in both her photo taken years ago and the fansite photo taken on December 1. When putting these two photos next to each other, Karina’s noticeable growth over the years is clearly seen.
Fans can’t help but get emotional at Karina’s growth. From an ordinary school girl, she has now become a rising K-pop star. However, there are still some comments suspecting Karina of having some work done on her face, and claiming that compared to her nose when she was younger, Karina‘s current nose looks smaller. Karina’s fans refute this suspicion by saying that the change is the result of puberty and that Karina is 100% a natural beauty.
This is not the first time Karina has been involved in controversy questioning if she underwent cosmetic procedures. Fans believe that no matter what, Karina‘s popularity at the present time is undeniable.
